When travelling to Twillingate, GPS systems can sometimes send visitors all the way to Crow Head, which is a different community further up the island. To make your arrival smooth and stress-free, please enter the exact name of your accommodation into Google Maps or your GPS:

DIRECTIONS
BY CAR
- From St. John's: Twillingate is a 5.5-hour drive.
- From Gander: Twillingate is 1.5 hours away.
- From Deer Lake Airport: Twillingate is a 4.5-hour drive.
Route Overview: Most of the route follows the Trans-Canada Highway (TCH1).
- From the East: Follow TCH1 to Gander, turn right onto Route 330, then left onto Route 331 (Road to the Isles), and finally right onto Route 340.
- From the West: Turn onto Route 340 at Lewisporte, which leads directly to Twillingate in about an hour.
In Twillingate:
- Turn left onto Main Street, cross Tickle Bridge, where Sunshine Inn, Drift Away Suite, Hi Tides Hostel, and Artisan Market will be on your right.
- Oceanview Retreat is located on the left on Smiths Lookout, just past the post office off Main Street. Continue onto the gravel road and the retreat is the last blue cottage.
- Loveridge House is accessible by a road off Main Street, just before the Anchor Inn Hotel turn right onto Path End.
